Cody Rouge Community Action Alliance is a community development organization serving the far west side of the City of Detroit. This funding would support expansion of Senior University, which promotes the independence and long-term wellness of older adults. It addresses issues of social isolation, and provides wraparound support which promotes physical, mental, and social health. This helps seniors to stay in their homes and age with dignity. It will also subsidize upgrades to the W. Warren Cody Rouge Headquarters, which will allow for increased service levels.
